Minimal maintenance and quick repair

The maintenance required is simple and the low voltage & high voltage coils are independent, so they can be replaced quickly and easily. The self-extinguishing characteristics ensure that in the event of internal breakage, the fault is limited and spreading to other phases remains low. Repair costs are greatly reduced.

Very low level of partial discharge

Given that the level of partial discharge is less than 10 pC, this prevents erosion and breakage of insulation systems of high voltage transformers.

Low noise emission

In order to ensure a minimum noise level, special tests are carried out in an anechoic chamber to measure the noise emitted by TMC Cast Resin transformers. A cast transformer has a lower flow rate (dB) than a conventional dry-type transformer.

Power increase potential

TMC Cast Resin transformers allow for increased power. When your transformer has been installed without a forced cooling system, adding a ventilation system will increase the capacity by approximately 25%
